The name of the Trelken Knife is a derivation of the original native word, adapted by the designer, inspired by the term "Trelkenentún", which in the language of the tribe "Araucanos", inhabitants of southern Chile, means "to remove the leather from an animal." It's a born and bred hunting knife designed by Walter A Matthews and features an ultra-thin polished 420HC stainless steel blade, hickory wood scales, and a handcrafted welted leather drop sheath.
